Why January 26 was the luckiest day of my life

1) The official announcement that I won the Microsoft Office Winter Games Contest.

2) The outpouring of support from literally hundreds of friends and strangers on my blog, Twitter and Facebook pages. Even Microsoft Office's publicist made a comment about it. THANK YOU!

3) That evening, I attended a media event for Visit Denver to kick off SIA (the Snow Sports Trade Show). It was there that The Woman Who Never Wins Anything proved that maybe just maybe my luck is changing.

Because I, my friends, was a winner for the second time that day when my name was drawn to win...

...an "Epic" Snuggie.

Now, excuse me while I go buy a lottery ticket.

You so deserve it! Hooray.

Thanks so much. :-)

The funny thing is I mocked my neighbor endlessly for his Snuggie.

I'm such a sell-out. :-)

You're not a sellout, you're smart. If I could wear my Snuggie to work, I'd totally do it.

Whoops--this was Kate!

So glad you won BOTH. The Snuggie can keep you warm in VCBC.

That actually might come in handy in Vancouver!

I guess that leaves me all alone here as The Woman Who Never Wins Anything.
Glad you got out.
And enjoy your nice, warm prize!

I'm so happy for you--how many events are you going to attend????

Amber said...

I have no idea how many I'll get to attend. I'll do a Q&A next week after I receive my itinerary!

Amber said...

I may just take you up on the Snuggie idea. :-)

snuggies just make me laugh... but if I won one, I would totally wear it.

I have openly mocked the Snuggie for years. Winning one made me realize what a hypocrite I am. :-)

When you win something or are given it for free, you have to love it even if it is as silly as a snuggie. Perhaps, you were destined to convert others to the cause. :)

Awesome, so fun to win things, especially the games!! My Hubby would tell you that a sunggie is just a bathrobe worn backwards, but hey...A win is a win!!
