I kept thinking of you yesterday when I watched the USA/Canada Hockey gold medal game. A classmate of my brother's plays for the San Jose Sharks, Joe Pavelski, and he was on the US team. We are all depressed about the loss, but I'm happy your motherland won! :)

I wish you could have been in Canada to see us beat the Americans in hockey. One of my proudest moments of a Canadian for sure. The whole bar broke out into a round of "Oh Canada" and then spilled into the streets for a giant street party. Once in a lifetime experience. Walking home from the bar all you hear is a constant stream of horns honking with people hanging out their car windows with Canadian flags. It's good to be Canadian!
