Bonnie's teammate in 1994 Olympian Chantal (Bailey) Cermak is my speedskating coach and those two have an interesting history as they were classmates in Champaign.

Additionally, I was so pleased that she has not pushed her kids into speedskating and let them explore. Awesome example for any parent.

How awesome!! I remember watching her skate and feeling exhilarated and a bit terrified at how fast she went. I love that she's not pushing her kids into her sport... that she's letting them find what they love!
